ChakraStrong Program

This program is loosely based on Andy Frisella’s 75Hard and not a copy of his personal system (which btw has helped thousands develop greater personal integrity, discipline, and commitment – I highly recommend it. You can integrate it into how you commit to ChakraStrong). This variation is primarily focussed on how the chakras are associated with discipline, commitment and integrity.

This group is a support and accountability group for ChakraStrong. Members of this group are asked to commit to doing a list of actions every single day for 84 days (12 weeks). The list includes:

  • Taking a selfie (face or full body) – you will want to compare yourself at the end to see how far you have progressed. You are not required to post pictures in the group but are welcome to if you want.
  • Reading 8 pages of any non-fiction self-help, motivational or entrepreneurial book. Audio books do not count. When you select a book and start reading it, you must finish it – even if you do not like it. You can also reread books. Note-taking and sharing insights in the group are highly recommended – especially in how they relate to both the physical and energy bodies. Holy books are not a part of this program but highly recommended in addition to the 8 pages as defined above.
  • Drink 3.5 liters/118 oz of water (carbonated if desired). No diet soda or drink powders – basically no drinking of calories or chemicals that influence the appetite by encouraging/triggering you to eat more than you need. If you must drink coffee or black tea, it does not count towards the 3.5 liters.
  • Define a diet or way of eating and stick to it with no cheat meals. No sugar, no honey, no fruit juice, no alcohol. Intermittent fasting is an excellent addition.
  • 1 hour of movement of any sort, in 30 min chunks. Being outside is not required but highly beneficial. BTW 75Hard requires two 45 minute workouts (defined by you), at least 2-3 hours apart and one of which must be outside unsheltered.
  • Participate daily in either the live group sessions or the recorded group sessions. You do not have to participate in a different one every day.

Why is this program called ChakraStrong? While doing 75Hard the first time, I found that all 7 main Chakras were engaged. I did some research muscle testing and discovered that taking one of the requirements on Andy’s list out would cause at least one of the chakras to disengage and not contribute to the success of the overall program. I also discovered that the Crown chakra is the chakra in charge of the whole system engagement. Each item on the list needs the support of at least two of the chakras, sometimes three. Changing one of the items on the list or replacing it with something easier or more convenient or less time intensive did not engage the chakras to the full extent critical to whole chakra system engagement. This means that substitutions to the list of program actions must be tested and optimized. If this is not done, the chances of succeeding in following the program for 84 days straight is quite low and probably based on will-power alone. Andy’s goal is to prove to ourselves that we can do hard things. Our goal is to strengthen the qualities we have by leveraging our energy system to more fully support us as we prove to ourselves that we can do hard things.

Members of the group make a commitment to do each item on the list in above; You don’t have to make this commitment immediately on joining the group, but it is highly recommended to start as soon as possible because otherwise you will not get the full benefits of the energy work done for the group. The energy work applies only to those who have made a conscious commitment to completing 84 days of ChakraStrong in a row. Part of the commitment is to also own up to restarting the 84 days at Day 1 if you for any reason do not complete each item daily. Part of the success of this program is the integrity to be honest about incomplete work regardless of the cause – whether it be due to forgetfulness, uncontrollable outside circumstances or lack of perceived energy or desire to finish an item. Good intentions cannot fill in for physically completing a day’s list of items. You also cannot use justification for lack of success. The strength of this program depends on four things:
1) The commitment to achieving a goal 100% even if this is very inconvenient and – frankly – hard.
2) The foresight to plan in advance how you will complete each item before going to bed that day (it is also good to have contingency plans for unexpected changes in the day).
3) Being absolutely honest with yourself about the completeness of your work as you go to bed.
4) The integrity to accept failure and simply start over if necessary.

ChakraStrong is not meant to be specifically a fitness or weight loss program. That being said, the simple fact that you choose a diet and stick to it without cheats, sugar, or alcohol and that you make a conscious effort to move in some way for two 30-min blocks a day almost inevitably results in better body composition. At the very minimum, you should feel better. In addition to that, others doing 75Hard have noticed more clarity in thought and action as well as more even-keeled moods and emotions. I also am not the only one who reported the urge to declutter and keep things more organized and tidy.

ChakraStrong is totally based on commitment, honesty and personal integrity. The only person who will know whether you complete all the items on your daily list is you. You do not have to tell anyone in the group if you fail to complete an item but you must be honest about whether you have completed 84 days in a row. Personal accountability is necessary to help this program be successful for you; sharing your successes and failures in the group help you hold yourself accountable and also help you deal with failure in a healthy way.

It is possible to become qualified as a ChakraStrong facilitator. The prerequisites are that you are certified in at least one energy work or allopathic or naturopathic modality and that you have completed either one round of ChakraStrong or 75Hard.

To participate in the group, the fee is 15 Euros – this should be less than US$18. This includes all the group sessions and one personal session of testing for the optimal steps in your personal ChakraStrong system if for some reason you can’t an item on the list (for example, you are blind or paralyzed). Individual sessions with myself or any other ChakraStrong facilitator can be scheduled privately and are charged based on the facilitator’s normal fee for energy work or other service.
